Amy Gates Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2020, at the age of 68, Amy Gates (Monticello, Iowa), born in Washington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Gates and N. Gayle Gates (Davis); and her brother Daniel James "DJ" Gates. She is survived by: her sister Margaret "Peg" Sheppard (Larry) of Manchester; her nieces and nephews, Mark Sheppard, Doug Sheppard (Amy), Emily Haussmann (Mark), Todd Anderson (Suelin) and Jennifer Froehlich; and her aunt Shirley Gates. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Because of the current COVID-19 concerns, there will be a Private Family service and Inurnment held at this time.
