It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Therese Anderson of Montezuma, Iowa, born in Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Edelen and Evelyn Edelen (DeMeulenaere); and her siblings-in-law, Lyle and Ladona Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Danny Anderson of Montezuma; her children, Curt Anderson of Montezuma and Christy Sanger (Jeff) of Montezuma; her grandchildren, Reece McCaslen (Callie), Maddux Anderson, Saphire Gatton and Riley Gatton; her siblings, Joe Edelen (Becky) of Brooklyn, Diane Arens (Nathan), Don Edelen (Susie) of Grinnell and Gene Edelen (Maria) of Geneseo, IL; and her brother-in-law Bill Anderson of Urbandale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montezuma Fire and Ambulance Services or the Blakely-Stevens American Legion Post #169 Building Fund.
