Rodney left this world on January 27, 2025 at the age of 59, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Ritchie; his nephew Zain VanWyk; and his stepfather Terry Stephen. He is survived by: his mother Connie Piersel Ritchie Stephen of Montezuma; his children, Racheal Ritchie of Idaho, Montana Ritchie of South Carolina and Austin Ritchie (Meaghan) of North Carolina; his granddaughters, Sophia Ritchie and Elizabeth Ritchie; and his siblings, Roxanne Hicks (Mike) of Montezuma, Rhonda Ritchie of Discovery Bay, CA, Kelly VanWyk (Brian) of Monroe and Byron Stephen (Margaux) of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sixteen Cemetery.
