He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Linn and Jewel Linn; his grandparents, Edgar, Abbie Gilbert, Eli and Bessie Wims; and his parents-in-law, Russell and Jeanette Wiley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Bill Linn (Kimberly) of Eureka, MO and Lisa James (Matt) of Lynnville, IA; his grandchildren, Jacob Linn of St. Louis, MO, Brennan, Anderson Linn of Eureka, MO, Haley James of Iowa City, Aliya and Dawson James of Lynnville, IA; his sister Sandra Poncy (Paul) of Centerville, IA; his siblings-in-law, Carol Helm (Frank) of Montezuma, Russell Wiley (Marion) of Cedar Falls, IA, Steve Wiley (Jo) of New Sharon, IA and Dr. Mark Wiley (Zhen) of Brandon, MS.; and his aunt Katie Jones of Texarkana, AR. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be divided between the Montezuma Methodist Church or the Montezuma Blakley-Stevens American Legion Post 169.
