He is survived by: his former wife Georgia Seuss; his wife Denise Van Roekel of Montezuma; his children, John Van Roekel (Debbie) of Montezuma, Teri Johnson (Brett) of Montezuma and Crystal Van Roekel (Greg Rinderknecht) of Montezuma; his grandchildren, Tanner Van Roekel (Allie Vosburg), Jamie Nelson (Nick), Taylor Gregson (Jeremy Shores), Kyle Van Roekel (Berina Delic), Aaron Wiegand (Rene), Melanie Hargis (Andy) and Rich Wiegand (Michelle); and his siblings, Veldine Scott of Ottumwa, Rae Van Roekel of Montezuma and Paul Van Roekel of Grinnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
