It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Cranston of Montezuma, Iowa, born in Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Rowe and Marjorie Rowe (Cheney); her stepdaughter Teri Ann Huff; and her sister-in-law Becky Rowe. She is survived by: her husband Jim Cranston of Montezuma; her brothers, Lynn Rowe, Rex Rowe and Ralph Rowe (Katy) of North English; her son Troy Cranston (Rachel) of Montezuma; her grandsons, Seth Cranston (Megan) of Deep River and Joel Cranston of Montezuma; her stepsons, Pat Cranston of New Sharon and Scott Cranston of Mount Pleasant; and her stepgrandchildren, Cambri Harris (Aaron) of Texas, Brad Steele (Kari) of Minnesota, Jamie Cranston of Grinnell, James Cranston of Knoxville and Brian Mason of New Sharon.

Memorial contributions may be made to The RARE Group, a group dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation of birds of prey throughout Iowa.
