He was predeceased by: his brother Randy; and his wife Linda Finch (Tousley). He is survived by: his son Herman (Darlene Finch); his grandchildren, Jeannette Owens (Dustin), Sonya Morrison (Jeff) and Jared Finch (Hannah) of Des Moines, IA.; and his niece Dina (Patricia Carlson) of Carlsbad, CA. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.

“I am so sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. Such a nice guy. I went to school with him at Carlsbad High School (California). Our classmates are still connected. One of my classmates called me and during our conversation he mentioned that Jesse had passed away. I didn't believe him until I found his obituary. I haven't had a lot of communication with him in the last few years, but he was a wonderful, sweet guy. I know as I share this with his classmates they, too, will be sad.”
