It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Johnson of Montezuma, Iowa, born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ohmer Gust and Frieda Schanzenbach Gust; her husband Marvin Dale Johnson; her sisters, Jennive Kershaw and Mavis Boettcher; and her son-in-law Jim Hargis.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Martin (Lyle) of Lynnville, Linda Schinckel (Dave) of Grinnell, Nancy Hargis of New Sharon and Dale Johnson (Gayle) of Montezuma; her grandchildren, Nickole Upton, Mike Magie (Becky Dudley), Andy Hargis (Melanie), Jess Sanders (Jaroed), Joseph Johnson (Jerilyn), Kyle Johnson (Tara) and Brett Johnson (Teri); and her siblings, Joyce Ehrich (Duane) of Blue Earth, MN. and Arlyce Holland (Roger) of Elmore, MN.. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
