Harlan Heinen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan Heinen of Montezuma, Iowa, born in Brooklyn, Iowa, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merril Heinen and Mildred Heinen (Wagner); his brother Herb Heinen; his sisters-in-law, Arlene Heinen, Carol Vecera, Sammie Huntington, Diane Farrell and Mary Lacaeyse; and his parents-in-law, Vivian Myers and Marvin "Barney" Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Stacy Myers of Montezuma; his siblings, Howard Heinen of Brooklyn and Harriet Longnecker (Don) of Waverly; his siblings-in-law, Moonyeen "Yen" Heinen and Gene Lacaeyse of Grinnell; his daughter Tammy; and his nephew Steven. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home (201 W Main St, Montezuma, IA 50171). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Francis Gallagher American Legion Post no. 294 or the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight and may be sent to the Holland-Coble Funeral Home; In Care of Harlan Heinen; P.O. Box 727; Montezuma, Iowa 50171.
