He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Brouwer and Antoinette Van Helten Brouwer; his sister Hazel Hamilton (Charles); his son Kevin; and his grandson Tony Farrington.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Johnson; his children, Andrew of Palm Springs, Douglas, Kelly (Norma) of Waco, Kimberly Bushong (Rex) of Brooklyn and Tina Hartman of Des Moines; and his grandchildren, Jason Blackfox, Kevin Brouwer Jr, Elissa Brouwer, Briana Brouwer, Lucas Bushong (Nicole), Blake Bushong, Emmy Bushong, Marisa Bushong and Cambri Hartman. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
