It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Margaret Taylor of Montezuma, Iowa, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gauley and Vada Gauley (Doonan); and her husband Arlo Taylor of Deep River. She is survived by: her sons, Craig Douglas (Laurie) of Coralville, Iowa. and Stanley Taylor of Corvallis; her granddaughter Molly Margaret Walter (Benjamin Walter); her great grandchildren, Henry Thomas and Helena Mary Walter; and her brother Kenneth Gauley (LaNeva). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service, at the United Church in Deep River, will be held later, once COVID-19 quarantine restrictions are over.
