With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Dean Merical of Montezuma, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wesley and Francis Elizabeth Merical (Schaffer); his daughter Cheryl Merical; and his siblings, Floyd and Zola Williams.
He is survived by: his former wife Gloria Allsup; his wife Joan Brones; his children, Crystal Tommingo (Steve) of Urbandale, Tony Merical of Stuart and Tim Merical (Carol) of Grinnell; his stepdaughter Robyn Berado of Oakland Acres; his son-in-law Sean Casey of Philadelphia, PA; his brothers, Jay Lee Merical of Greenfield and Gary Merical (Linda) of Brooklyn; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Rudicil of Gilman and Susan Brones of Des Moines. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
