He was predeceased by: his grandfather William; his stepgrandfather James Rumley; and also, Jim, Donna Fisk, Terry Audas and Marcy Leeper.
He is survived by: his son Colton of Montezuma; his parents, Robert Awtry and Dannella Awtry (Carter) of Harvey; his wife Julie Awtry of Montezuma; his son Beau Awtry of Montezuma; his grandparents, Beverly Rumley of Carlisle and Eugene Carter of Des Moines; his parents-in-law, Steve and Judy Audas of Montezuma; his sister-in-law Stephanie Audas (Cody Meinecke) of Montezuma; his nephew Hunter Meinecke of Montezuma; and his grandfather-in-law Jane Audas of Montezuma. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in the family's name and will be designated to his sons, Colton and Beau.
