He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Bolen and Eleanor "Lois" Swecker Bolen. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Arendt of Montezuma; his children, Mark Bolen (Robin) of Montezuma and LeAnn Chastain (Steve) of Scottsdale, Arizona; his grandchildren, Bill Bolen (Jacki), Dana Bolen, Curtis Bolen (Aimee), Alan Bolen (Polly), Logan Chastain (Bethani), Connor Chastain and Colin Chastain; and his stepbrother Dan Agnew (Nancy). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
