She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Acord and Elizabeth Acord (McCulley); her husband Edward Snook; her sister Marvel Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Willis Snook (Phyllis), Floyd Snook (Joan), Donald Snook, Keith Snook, Gladys Arthur (Keith), Francis Shillenger (Don), Lucille Tish (Walt), Betty Van Dee (Marion) and Ellie Snook.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Quinn Ann and Liam John; her daughters, Brenda Peck (Don) of Montezuma and Neva Gregory (Allen) of Montezuma; her grandchildren, Alex Peck, Joe Peck, Serena Gregory and William Gregory; and her siblings-in-law, Warren Smith, Eldon Snook (Reca), Roy Snook (Kathy) and Patricia (Marvin Evans).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home (201 W Main St, Montezuma, IA 50171). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Holland-Coble Funeral Home (201 W Main St, Montezuma, IA 50171).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Betty Snook Memorial Fund and will be used for a scholarship for the Montezuma School District.
