He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mike Gillam and Linda Wehrle; and his great-grandparents, Dick, Martha Van Wyk, Harold, Jennie Geurts, James Gillam, Keith Walker, Donald Hite, Raymond and Trudy Wehrle.
He is survived by: his parents, Daryl Van Wyk (Connie Grunder) of Lynnville and Cheinette Van Wyk of Colorado Springs, CO; his brother Dustin Van Wyk (Jennifer); his children, Trevor, Hunter, Derek Van Wyk, Trinity, Jackson, Aubrey, Devin Van Wyk, Carly Braimah (Aaron), Paige Stone (Owayne) and Alaina; his grandparents, Bernard, LaVonne Van Wyk, Marvin and Ellen Wehrle; and his great-grandparents, Hazel Walker Hite, Bob and Delores Burt (Gillam).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lynnville-Sully Wrestling Team or St. Florian Fire and Burn Foundation.
