She was predeceased by: her father Harry H. Smith; her husband Charles Barnhill; her son Sam Barnhill; and her mother Rosella Scieszinski (Brandon). She is survived by: her daughter Sally Bowzer; her grandson Ben Bowzer (Melanie); her brother Garold Livengood (Marva); and her sister-in-law Carol Barnhill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to Twin Cedars Dollars for Scholars, Bussey, IA .
