He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Clayton Young II and Gloria Mildred Young (Nelson); his stepmother Carol; his brother David; his in-laws, Dale and Arlene Heater; his siblings-in-law, Juanita Jennings, Carmen Young and Robert Heater; his cousin Jean Enke; and his niece Tiffany.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Heater; his children, Jill and Kyle Young (Amber); his grandsons, Isaac, Oliver and Elliot Young; his brothers, Larry Young and Brian Young (Alina); and his stepsiblings, Phil Hobus, Sharyn Zimmerman (Phil), Roger Hobus (Peggy) and Colleen Taylor (Ron).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Monroe Presbyterian Church (115 S Main St, Monroe, IA 50170). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
