He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Simpson and Cora Simpson (Huke); his siblings, Gary Simpson and Deanna Dawson; and his stepson Terence.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Hardy; his children, Matt Martin, Amanda Simpson and Tara Haag; his grandchildren, Hailea, Avrionna, Clayton, Cora, Cruz, Jacob, Nicole and Katie; his great grandchildren, Kace and Beckham; and his brothers, Bill Simpson (Lynette) and Cliff SImpson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Monroe Fire Department.
