He is survived by: his wife Kyla of Monroe, IA; his children, Joshua Bandstra (Caron), Charlie Bandstra and Ella Thompson of Waukee, IA.; his siblings, Karla (Scott Baxter), Ron Bandstra of Pella, Jerry (Deb Bandstra), Lisa (Dave Wagner) and Rob (Kim Bandstra); and his siblings-in-law, Kurt, Carol Vander Ploeg of Pella, Kristy, Dale Dixon of Monroe, Karlin, Darrell Hjortshoj of Monroe, Kathy Van Veen of Monroe, Kit and Kathy Vander Ploeg of Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
