He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Phifer and Edith Phifer (Warner); his grandson Jacob Beck; and his pet Moon. He is survived by: his wife Kittie Jones; his sons, Jeff Phifer (Eilleen), Ryan Phifer (Jan), Ward Phifer (Leanne) and Chad Phifer (Tina); his grandchildren, Aaron Phifer, Jacob Phifer, Claire Phifer, Rachel Ryan (Kevin), Braden Phifer, Meghan Phifer, Joshua Phifer, Taylor Phifer and Nathan Phifer; and his brothers, Daryl Phifer (Linda), Carroll Phifer (Gloria) and Ralph Phifer (Susie).
