He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Underwood and Helen Underwood (Johnson); his stepfather John Querrey; and his siblings, Phyllis Rowley and Kenny Allen Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Stapp; his children, Teresa Rowley (Harold) of Moravia, Troy Underwood (Jackie) of Albia and Toby Underwood of Moravia; his grandchildren, JoAnne Isley (David), Scott Rowley (Amber), Victoria Ogier (Bill), Keith, Cheyenne Rowley, Tyler, Tommy Joe, Cody, Austin, Kyle Underwood, Desiree Carlson (Cody), Macy and Carson Underwood; his great grandchildren, Spencer, Carter, Hannah Isley, Tyler, Myrissa, Brody, Emerson Rowley, Stella, Norah Ogier, Tucker Underwood and Wenry Carlson; and his brothers, Ronnie Underwood (Cindy) of Albia and Gary Underwood (Jane) of Blakesburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to either the Moravia School Athletic Department, or to the Moravia First Responders, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
