It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Edwin Butin (Monroe, Iowa), born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Guy and Ina Rose Butin (Terpstra); his daughters, Sandra Kay Albers and Lynn Carol Young Mitchell; and his brother Carroll Butin.
He is survived by: his former wife Bernice Ruth Renaud of Sully; his wife Bernie; his son Robert Edwin Butin; his grandchildren, Bradley Albers (Liz), Brian Albers (Jody), Darren Albers (Dawn), Lance Young (Jennifer), Chad Young, Elizabeth Butin (Steve Breton) and Annie Almquist (Andy); and his sons-in-law, Dale Albers, Myron Young and Gene Mitchell.
