Betty Joy Bowie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joy Bowie of Monroe, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Currier and Cora Currier (Best); her sons, Robert and William Bowie; her granddaughter Christina Chapman; the father of her children Robert E. Bowie; and her sisters, Myrna C. Siebelts and Bonnie Clinkenbeard.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Jones, Kimberly Jordan of Pella, Milton Bowie of Newton, Lori Andera (Roger) of Lee's Summit and Susan Ford (Billy) of Monroe; and her sisters, June Rozga of Clintonville and Norma Bell of Waterloo. She is also survived by five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
