He was predeceased by: his parents, Flossie and Henry; and his brother Marlow (Red). He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Melonee Nichols (David) of Cedar Rapids, Lynne Payne (Chad) of DeGraff, Michael Gisleson (Kara) of Luana and David Gisleson (Stacie) of North Liberty; his grandchild Kelsey Gisleson; his children, Samantha Schoenfelder (Tyler), Allie Payne, Quentin, Kaden, Keyan and Addie Gisleson; and his sisters, Madonna Stumme (late Howard) and JoLena Levenhagen (Harvey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
