He is survived by: his former wife Sandra LaPointe; his wife Sandy Thompson of McGregor, Iowa; his children, Janet Sutherland (Mick) of Eau Claire, Patty Roach of Waukon, John Thompson (Donna) of McFarland and Jennifer Owens of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Sam Miller, Adam Miller, Jessica Miller (Lance), Jacob Roach (Kellie), Noah, Ava Thompson, Luke Owens (Jessie), Blake Owens, Brandon Sutherland (Amber) and Katherine Sutherland; and his great grandchildren, Alex Miller, Owen, Mason Sutherland, Stephen, Drake Owens and Kashton Hurd. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
