She is survived by: her husband Dennis of Monmouth, IA; her pet Dennis; her sons, Dan (Jennifer) of Central City, IA and Matt (Katy) of Anamosa, IA.; her grandchildren, Myranda, Jaclyn, Gabby, Addison and Garrett; her great grandchild Jameson; her sister Carmin Margeson of Baldwin, IA; her uncle George Butt (Pam) of Durand, IL; her brother-in-law David Appelhans (Gay) of Ankeny, IA; and her nephews, Shad (Ann) and Patterson.
Known for her culinary talents, Kathy's popcorn balls and fudge were more than just treats; they were symbols of her generosity, often donated to auctions and benefits, spreading joy and sweetness wherever they went.
