With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight Nuzum of Mondamin, Iowa, who passed away on May 14, 2021 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Nuzum and May Nuzum (Losh); his wife Anita Swanberg (Swanberg); his siblings, Karen, Loyal and Laverne; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Swanberg, Phyllis Christensen, Violet Bothwell, Joanna Nuzum, Wanda McColley, Maurice Stewart, Virgil Wallis, Vernon Christensen and Gene Bothwell.
He is survived by: his children, Teddy Lee, Lee Nuzum of Mondamin, Iowa and Tony Nuzum of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his grandchildren, Brian Nuzum (Dana) of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Ben Nuzum of Moorhead, Iowa, Landyn Nuzum of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Breanna Williams (Hunter) of Urbandale, Iowa and Grant Nuzum of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his great grandchild Taylin Nuzum of Elkhorn, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Christensen of Pisgah, Iowa, Lavone Stewart of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Gardena Wallis of Little Sioux, Iowa, Joe Swanberg of Little Sioux, Iowa, Martin McColley of Little Sioux, Iowa and Jerry Swanberg (Wanda) of Ankeny, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be 10:30 A. M. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Nealy Hall, Little Sioux, Iowa with Pastor Jerry Swanberg officiating. (Please bring and wear masks).
