Nielson of Modale, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Witthauer and Julia Witthauer (Barrett); and her grandson Jonathan Nielson. She is survived by: her husband Bert C. Nielson, Jr. of Modale; her daughters, Julie Nielson and Laurie Burns; and her grandchildren, Josh, Tyler and Markie. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
