Sharon Payne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Payne of Mitchellville, Iowa, born in Bondurant, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bailey and Laura "Edith" Bailey of Mitchellville. She is survived by: her brother Wayne Bailey of Lacey; her husband Craig Payne; her children, Brandt Payne of Altoona and Laura Cannon of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Lily, Chloe of Altoona, Colton and Greyson of Lexington.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elkhart Christian Church (252 NW Washington Ave, Elkhart, IA 50073). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Mitchellville Public Library in memory of Sharon.
