She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Bailey and Ruby Bailey (Comstock); her son Robert Thornton Jr.; her granddaughter Terri Friday; and her siblings, Bernard Bailey, Elvin Bailey, Rosemary Bailey, Orville Bailey and Richard Bailey.
She is survived by: her son John Thornton Sr.; her grandchildren, John Thornton Jr. (Tola) and Christina Thornton (Mike); her great grandchildren, John Thornton III and Isabel Friday; and her siblings, Wanda Hayline, Dan Bailey (Arty), Dean Bailey and Sherri Carmichael. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Santiago Church.
