He is survived by: his wife Carrie "Jean" Olson; his children, Dana Olson and David Olson (Lisa); his stepson Ed Hamilton (Shawn); his grandchildren, Anthony Olson, Travis Edvenson (Keshia), Tara Edvenson, Tyler Edvenson, Nick Olson and Tristan Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Teagan and Colton Edvenson; and his brothers, Cliff Olson, Marvin "Jerry" Olson (Helga) and Kenneth "Donald" Olson (Kay).
