She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Vos and Grace Vos (Sterk); her husband Bob Bruxvoort; and her siblings, Wilbur Vos, Bernie Vos, Marjorie Van Haaften, Beverly Nugteren and Nancy Van Zante.
She is survived by: her children, Patty DeVries (Mike) of Prairie City and Dave Bruxvoort (Karen) of Mitchellville; her grandchildren, Mindy Gelder (Brian), Jay DeVries (Julianna), Steven Bruxvoort (Rachel), Scott Bruxvoort, Dillon Bruxvoort and Mark Bruxvoort (Abbi); her great grandchildren, Jaylyn, Jessalyn, Jayannalyn, Elia, Grayson, Reed, Lydia, Brynlee, Cooper and Brody; and her brother Larry Vos (Susie).
Memorials may be made out to the First Reformed Church of Prairie City or to Jan's family (Dave Bruxvoort or Patty DeVries) for a donation given to Prairie Vista Village.
