He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement and Sedona Honz (Hoffmann); his wife Betty J. Christiansen; his siblings, Raymond Honz, Donald Honz (Rita), Edward Honz (Dorothy), Doris Jensen, Dennis Honz (Peggy), Rita Schneckloth (Kenneth) and Sister Agnes (Columbia); and his in-laws, Dennis Christiansen, Robert Christiansen (Betty Jane), William Christiansen (Cora), Ronald Christiansen (Paula) and Bonnie Boughton (Gary).
He is survived by: his children, Christine Wood (Bernell), Karen Manternach (Russ), Tom Honz (Kristin), Roger Honz (Shannon Campion) and Kathleen Sather (Mike); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Rachael, David, Emily, Kassi, Cole, Casey, Jacob, Allie, Jennifer, Kali and Calvin; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Christiansen and Phillip Christiansen (Nellie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
