With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Arthur Dorland (Missouri Valley, Iowa), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Art Dorland and Hazel Dorland (Hull); his wife Delores Nielsen; his children, Michael Dorland (Tonya) of Woodbine, Jennifer Dorland of Woodbine, Mary Hansen (Robert) of Lenexa, James Dorland (Katelyn) and Carolyn Goodsell (Josh) of Missouri Valley; and his sisters, Jane Lesch (David) of Hoffman Estates and Joyce Martin (Robert) of Guthrie. He was also cherished by Nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to either the Missouri Valley Community of Christ Church or the Missouri Valley Fire men's Association.
