She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Faber and Gladys Faber (Gudenkauf); her husband Dorance Milton Porter, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Dorance and Velma Porter; and her sister-in-law Starr Porter.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Bauer (Jeff); her granddaughters, Alexia, Rylee, Breanna Bauer, Victoria, Alivia and Sophia Porter; her siblings, Jim Faber (LuAnn) of Hampton Falls, N. H., Al Faber (Maureen), Dan Faber (Sharon), Ann Kerper (Bob), Bernard, Steve Faber (Ann) and Mike Faber (Deb); and her brothers-in-law, Bob Porter (Sharon) of Monticello, David Porter of Monticello, Daniel Porter of Monticello and Daryl Porter (Deb) of Monticello.
In lieu of flowers and gifts the family requests memorials be sent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello, Iowa in Shirley's honor.
