He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Clausen and Wilma Clausen (Sorensen); and his sister-in-law Judie Clausen. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Mike Clausen (Margaret White), Terry Clausen (Jennifer), Brian Clausen, Connie Muell (Dave), Mark Clausen (Meri) and Jennifer Artman (TJ); his grandchildren, Drew (Jessica), Alex, Noah, Claire, Brett, Blake, Beau, Jordan (Taylor), Morgan, Madison, McKenna, Gage, Taylor and Kelsey; his great grandchildren, Jude and Henry; and his brothers, Don Clausen and Loren Clausen (Marsha). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St Paul Lutheran Fellowship Hall (201 N 2nd St, Missouri Valley, IA 51555). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (201 N 2nd St, Missouri Valley, IA 51555).
