It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D Thompson of Missouri Valley, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Thompson and Fern Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Pringle; his close friend Nancy Runge of Missouri Valley, IA; his children, Laura Crowell (Scott) of Lynd, MN, Robert Thompson (Val) of Johnston, IA and Julie Thompson of Columbia, MO; and his siblings, Sharon Porter of Oklahoma, Ralph "Tom" Thompson (Carol) of Brighton, Jeannette Speck of Omaha, Connie Behrens (Rick) of Omaha, Debbie Thompson of Council Bluffs and Colette Holcombe of Belen, NM. He is also survived by one aunt, two uncles, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials or remembrances can be made in the form of contributions to a non-profit charity of choice in Bob's name.
