He is survived by: his wife Susan Kahl (Sue); his children, Cheryl Smithson (Jeff) and Daryl Fichter (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Janelle Smithson, Dylan Smithson, Riley Fichter, Alec Fichter and Nikayla Fichter.
