It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle C. Pauley of Missouri Valley, Iowa, born in Avoca, Iowa, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Pauley and Ada Pauley (Osbar); his wife Carmelita; his children, Peggy Hardy and Lawrence Pauley; his grandchildren, Rodney Duncan, Randy Pauley, Jeff Hardy, Chuck Pauley and Heather Wakehouse; his great grandchild Gage Lawson; and his siblings, Ira Pauley (Butch) and Lavone Barta.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Williams (Rick), Pam Reynolds (Rayce), Phyllis Karlin (Stuart), Lavern Pauley (Laurie), Lenny Pauley (Sandy) and Penny Holst (Todd); and his brother Doug Pauley (Skeeter). He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren thirty seven great grandchildren four great great grandchildren.
