It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John David Longmeyer (Missouri Valley, Iowa), who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Butch Longmeyer; his daughter Amber Longmeyer; and his brother Mark Longmeyer. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Neese (Allmon); his son Tyler Longmeyer; and his sister-in-law Valerie Longmeyer. He is also survived by niece, great-nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to direct memorials to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
