She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Peterson and Margaret Peterson; her brother Teddy Peterson; her daughter Susan Huff; and her great grandchild Theodore Small.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Small; her children, Lori Kirk (Rich Felt), Dave Small (Jennifer Small) and Ken Small; and her grandchildren, Andrew Huff (Phoebe Hornbeck-Gearhart), Cassidy McCorkle (Colton McCorkle), Deric Small (Jessica Small), Colton Small (Charidy Kaiser), Jacob Small (Maddie Small) and Caitlin Tompkins (Allen Tompkins).
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Went Home. Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hennessey Funeral Home (310 E Huron St, Missouri Valley, IA 51555).
