He was predeceased by: his parent Jennie Hiller; his parents-in-law, Claude and Ruth Janes; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Janes and Dennis Janes.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Jean Janes of Missouri Valley, Iowa; his children, Rich Hiller (Rene) of Logan, Iowa and Julie (Ed Stueve) of Logan, Iowa; his grandchildren, Megan Hiller, Nicolas Hiller, Macie Hiller, Kaitlyn Buboltz (Ross), Kimberly Gray (Gavin) and Kyle Stueve; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Buboltz, Annabelle Buboltz and June Buboltz; and his siblings, John Hiller (Mary) of Blackwater, Jeff Hiller (Sue) of Poinciana, Florida, Jenet (Jack Bakke) of Vernon Hills, Janice (Bob Gronstal) of Gastonia, Judy (Bill Connor) of Ozark and Jeanie (Bill Botos) of Missouri Valley. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Lutheran Church (724 N 8th St, Missouri Valley, IA 51555). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
