It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Jean Myler in Missouri Valley, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Riley and Minnie Riley (Pierce); her husband Doug; her daughters, Rita Alys and Rejina Kay; and her great grandchild Daniel Dwight.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Valley (Janet) of Missouri, Claudia Jean Schwertley (Dwight), Tom (Michelle) and Janis Mitchell (Earl) of Weatherford, TX; her siblings, Flossie Lamkins of Sacramento, CA, Harriet Riley of Rock Springs, WY and Valley of Missouri; and her brother-in-law Roger Smith of Omaha, NE.
Due to COVID, a private burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to be held in the summer.
