He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Squier and Opal Squier (Leighton); and his brothers, Harry Squier (Agnes), Joseph "Rex" Squier and Elmer Squier (Bonnie).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Squier of Missouri Valley, Iowa; and his sons, Dennis Squier (Pam) of Omaha, Nebraska and Daniel Squier of Owasso, Oklahoma. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
