She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Petersen and Mary Jane Petersen (Hough); and her brothers-in-law, Jim Evans and Victor Smith. She is survived by: her husband Roger Smith of Missouri Valley, Iowa; her daughters, Barbara Smith (Bill Adams), Diane (Brent Hansen) of Missouri Valley and Kristine (Chris Nelson) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; her grandchildren, Derek Hansen of Missouri Valley and Madisyn Hansen of Missouri Valley; and her sisters, Linda (Max Farris) of Edgewood and Kathie Evans of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
