She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cowan and Pollyanna Hosteller; and her brother Michael Cowan. She is survived by: her husband Frank Briggs; her children, Keri Meyer (Bill), Dean Johnson and Beau Briggs (Shannon); her stepdaughter Bobbie Brooks (Jason); her grandchildren, Joseph Litel, Katie Hansen (Curt), Lisa Gunnels, Tegan Hart (Cody), Dru Brooks, Molli Brooks, Ariel Williams, Tess Jackowski, Scarlett Briggs and Justice Briggs; and her great grandchildren, Nicole Courtier, Jazzmyn Gunnels, Dierks Hansen, Reagan Hansen and Lainee Hansen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
