It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Joseph Hammitt of Missouri Valley, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Hammitt; and his grandparents, Claude, Bernice Hammitt of Logan, Melvin and Virginia Pearson of Missouri Valley.
He is survived by: his mother Anita Longmeyer (Dave) of Stover, MO.; his wife Shanna; his daughters, Cleo Hammitt and Lola Marshall of Missouri Valley; and his siblings, Atina Hammitt (David Kelley) of Council Bluffs, Ryan Hammitt of Missouri Valley and Laura Hammitt of Woodbine. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
