He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Francis and Frances Agnes Schrunk (Sohm); his son Christopher Schrunk; his siblings, Odelia Schrunk, Barbara Ann Schrunk, Charlie Schrunk (Genevieve), John Schrunk, Leroy Schrunk and Bruce Schrunk; his sister-in-law Kathy Schrunk; and his great grandchild Leo Steinbach.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Schrunk of Missouri Valley, Iowa; his children, Michelle (Peter Steinbach) of Sioux City, Stacia (Mike Schuur) of Sioux City and Kevin Schrunk (Tina) of Elkhorn, Nebraska; his brothers, Otto Schrunk of Sioux City and Bryon Schrunk (Patti) of Albuquerque; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Schrunk of LeMars and Tina Schrunk of Danbury. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
