He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Doty and Marilyn Doty Brown (Maxwell); and his brothers, Ed Doty and Bob Doty. He is survived by: his wife Nhung Lovan of Mingo; his stepchildren, Dunny Noble (Fred), Julia Goddard (Matthew) and Rano Lovan (Laura); his stepgrandchildren, Naomi, Joseph, Paul, Emilia and Leanne Sarah; and his siblings, Rhonda Milligan (John) of Mingo, Jodi Maher (John) of Newton and K. C. Cleveland (Chloe) of Hawaii. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
